Sip the Night Away at the 4th Annual Weekend Jetaway Culinary Casino Classic

Calling all beer, wine, and cocktail enthusiasts! Weekend Jetaway, presented by AXA Advisors Southwest, Aero Jet and Jet Set Magazine, has upped the ante for its 4th Annual event with a huge list of spirits from Alliance Beverage at the October 23 soiree taking place from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Guests at the culinary casino event will enjoy an eye-popping number of libations as well as custom and seasonal cocktails all night long. Among the most-anticipated brands are Smirnoff’s seasonal “Peppermint” vodka and Baileys just-released Espresso Crème flavor, both of which will featured in cocktails as part of the event’s “Sweet Suite” dessert area.

Wine-lovers will enjoy glasses of popular brands like Sterling, Son Cutte, BV, Uppercut, Penfolds, Buehler, Chandon, and Anne Amie. Guests will even have the opportunity to take home a bottle of their favorite via a luxury “wine pull”. For those partial to beer they will be able to sip on tastings from Coors Light, Miller Lite, Blue Moon, Leinenkugels and even Redd’s Apple Ale.

“The event will also feature music, culinary creations from leading Valley chefs, custom cocktails, surprise entertainers, Clique Photo Station and casino games set in a private jet hangar within the Scottsdale Airport,” said Dillan Micus, event co-founder. “During Weekend Jetaway, guests will take part in a casino-style dice game, with several lucky winners taking home a multitude of lux prizes, including the grand prize – a luxurious all-inclusive, first-class vacation on a private jet for four.”

Among the popular restaurants sampling their fall and winter menus during Weekend Jetaway are: Arcadia Tavern, Postino WineCafe, The Capital Grille North Scottsdale, Rhythm & Wine, Jalapeno Inferno, Twin Peaks, SOL Cocina, The DoubleTree Resort Paradise Valley, Tom’s Thumb Marketplace, Sprinkles and The Melting Pot.

All proceeds from the event – which will also include expansive live and silent auctions – will benefit Elevate Phoenix, a non-profit organization working to provide in-school teaching; after-school mentoring/tutoring; career instruction/ post-secondary preparation and life skills training to local kids in need.
