House of Form, an acclaimed hospitality design studio known for crafting immersive environments, has unveiled its latest project: Wren House Brewing Paradise Valley, the first cask ale brewery of its kind in Arizona. This space not only honors Wren House’s local roots but also introduces a new chapter for craft beer lovers in the Valley – one steeped in the warmth of Arizona and the rich traditions of Europe.
Located in Paradise Valley, the 60-seat brewery spans 1,350 square feet indoors, with an additional 285 square feet of outdoor seating. The design strikes a balance between the rustic charm and the cozy familiarity of a European pub. Every detail, from the use of natural Arizona woods to subtle desert-inspired hues, speaks to a deep sense of place, while celebrating the comfort of a neighborhood watering hole.
What sets Wren House Brewing Paradise Valley apart is not just its atmosphere, but its dedication to cask ales, a brewing style loved by the owners during their travels through Europe. Recognizing a gap in the Phoenix craft beer market, they set out to bring this authentic pub experience to the United States, creating a space that elevates heritage and honors the brand’s strong identity in the community.
Inside, the design weaves playful elements with grounded intention. A custom booth pattern subtly layers wren bird motifs with desert cacti, while plaid patterns – reimagined with a modern twist – line the space with warmth and character. Lamppost-inspired lighting fixtures, mounted to the bar counter, and checkered tabletops add both whimsy and a distinctly British flair.
