Lotus Builds Partnership for Bespoke Service

In the past few years Lotus has shown itself to be nothing if not ambitious, debuting some of the finest production and concept models in the history of the modern sport car.  One landmark move of late has been the collaboration with Mansory to customize its vehicles.  In light of the success of this partnership Lotus is now trying to expand with Mansory into a new era of luxury high performance automobiles.

Just a little over a year ago Lotus brought in Mansory to put some finishing touches of elegance and quality on their Evora model.  This germ of collaboration led to the production Evora GTE (pictured above) as well as some subsequent special edition vehicles.  Now Lotus and Mansory are preparing to roll out an entire customization range not only for the Evora, but also the Elise and Exige models.

“There’s a strong market for official customization, and Mansory is the perfect partner in ensuring the quality and style we strive to maintain at Lotus. For customers who are seeking Lotus’ principals of speed, innovation and fun, but with added exclusivity, our official customization studio is the answer. The Lotus Evora GTE is a great illustration of what is to come. The car has already prompted around 250 orders and leads between China and Europe and we expect it to have a very successful future as the top of the range Evora,” said Maurizio Parlato, Commercial Director, Group Lotus.

The customization options will include bodywork, trim, and special finishes.  While not much information is available at present, it has been made known that Lotus and Mansory are gearing up to unveil a new variant at the Paris Motor Show this September.

Phoenix Valley luxury and sporting enthusiasts can view and test drive any current production model Lotus at Lotus of Scottsdale.
