Say goodbye to tradition and hello to some of fall's new fun and sexy wedding gowns that are trending right now.

Short

Varied-length dresses were a hot trend of summer, and we see the styles continuing on into fall. Many boutiques are carrying above-the-knee dresses, such as these two both made by designer Ines DiSanto. These flirty short dresses have plenty of great details, and feature ruffled tulle and floral appliques. The short dress trend is youthful, stylish, and most definitely dance floor-friendly. This is a great option for a fun and glamorous party dress to change into for the reception that allows the bride to dance the night away with her new husband.

Crisscross Back

The crisscross back is an incredibly sexy trend of Fall 2013. This sweet, feminine detail looks great on almost any type of dress, especially gown-length, that any bride would adore. This particular gown, by Victoria Kyriakides, has drama, elegance, and yet still has much sex appeal. Many styles can also be accented with lace or crystals, and is a great alternative to a strapless gown. A gorgeously detailed back will give them something to talk about when you walk down the aisle!

High Front Slit

Famous celebrities like Angelina Jolie made the high dress slit a hot trend this year, and it's merging into wedding dresses too. A bride should feel sexy on her wedding day, and this dress, made by Maggie Sottero, gives nothing less. This trend is marked by mysterious, teasing reveal that will make everyone envy you as you walk down the aisle. Think about this trend as you choose which brilliant style of shoe you want to accessorize with.

Ombre Coloring

This dress, made by Monique Lhuillier, is a trend for this fall's wedding dress collection through its beautiful ombre coloring. This year ombre made its way into home décor and street fashion, and now it’s come to impact wedding dresses. This trend is a sweet, subtle way to add beauty and a pop of color in a way that won't make the dress feel overwhelmed by color. With a full skirt and textured organza, Lhullier's ombre gown is trendy and elegant.
