Runway Ready Wedding Hair

When it comes to your wedding hairstyle there are so many choices! Your hair sets the tone for your over all look. Pulled back, down with loose curls, flowers or feathers? It can get overwhelming!!

From New York Fashion Week 2010 to the Red Carpet, new looks for your mane straight off the catwalk are entering into the wedding world.

The newest fall hair trends are all about the hair being pulled up and off of the face. Stay away from perfectly placed strands and pinned curls and go for a softer pulled back hair-do. Hair is kept loose and flowy allowing the fly-aways to do just that, fly. Yes, it’s true Fly-aways are in!

A new twist on the sophisticated timeless bun has been seen on celebrities up and down 2010 red carpets. A bun pulled on top of the head for a very chic sophisticated look or pulled back to the lower section of the head to create a more gentle romantic look.

Fashion-forward Sarah Jessica Parker rocked not only a over-sized bun at this years Oscar’s but fly-aways in tow creating a very soft look.

Hair we go again! In fashion history certainly repeats itself, so let’s take it back old school. Braids are in! Loose side braids or bangs braided back into an up-do inspired look are all the hype this fall.

Braids: soft and chic with a mix of deconstructive style means they are a achievable easy look for almost any bride to wear. Even if a braid is not a perfect fit for your wedding day, wearing this “do” for your rehearsal dinner or bridesmaid’s luncheon will help you achieve a stylish look for each special moment leading to your big day.

Hair completely pulled back up off the face is nothing short of glam. When working with an elegant “do” your beautiful smile and make-up will become the focal point of pictures. A smokey eye or a red lip creates a stunning look when incorporated with lightly curled, teased and swept back hair.

Guests won’t forget the way you looked when your romantic and whimsical hair sets the stage for make-up.

The common denominator to these up and coming trends? Femininity. The loose locks, tousled curls, all pulled away from the face creates an automatic sense of romance and elegance.

With these looks you will be runway-ready and your chicness is sure to shine on your BIG day!
