5th Annual Kentucky Derby Party  

In celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Kentucky Derby, the ticketed event will be in Mowry & Cotton’s expansive porch and dining room, where locals and guests can watch the iconic race on multiple TVs and a large projection screen. 

Attendees will savor a variety of Southern-inspired dishes, receive two complimentary traditional mint juleps and a commemorative copper cup, plus participate in a raffle and fun-filled contests such as “women’s best hat,” “gentlemen’s best Southern style attire,” and “best couple’s attire.” Small batch Woodford Reserve will be available for purchase with complimentary custom bottle engraving.

• WHAT: Sports, style, and philanthropy converge in a celebration of tradition and elegance. Attendees will celebrate the historic race with themed festivities, bourbon offerings, fashion contests, and enjoy Southern-inspired dishes and two complimentary traditional mint juleps in a commemorative copper cup. The race will be screened on multiple TVs and a large projection screen for prime viewing. The event is hosted by anchor Sean McLaughlin of Arizona’s CBS 5/3 TV, and a portion of proceeds will benefit local nonprofit After the Homestretch-Arizona, dedicated to reconditioning, retraining, and re-homing former racehorses.
