Black Canyon Heritage Park is thrilled to announce the return of the WinterFest/Bookfest on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM. The event will take place at Black Canyon Heritage Park, located at 33955 Old Black Canyon Highway, Black Canyon City, AZ 85324. - **WinterFest**: An exploration of the region's cultural, historical, recreational, and environmental offerings. Participants of all ages and physical abilities can partake in various discovery experiences, fostering respect, responsibility, and stewardship for the natural treasures of the area. Exhibitors expected include the Bureau of Land Management, Sierra Club, Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary, Sonoran Reptiles, Friends of Agua Fria National Monument, US Forest Service, and similar organizations for WinterFest.

- **BookFest**: A haven for history enthusiasts, authors, potential authors, and supporting experts, offering the opportunity to meet and engage with authors selling and signing their books. Visitors can also interact with authors, booksellers, illustrators, and other experts in Arizona History. The Old Cañon School Museum on the park's grounds will be open for tours. Exhibitors expected include Glorybound Publisher, Black Canyon Historical Society, Black Canyon City Community Library, and notable authors like Wayne Treptow, Barbara Renner, and many others.

- **Refreshments**: Refreshments will be available for purchase.
