Join us for an unforgettable celebration of culture, art, and community at Xico's 36th Annual Dinner and Art Auction, themed "MēXico – Lindo y Querido." Embrace the inspiration of the beloved Mariachi song as we celebrate Mexican art and culture while reflecting on what Xico means to you. This vibrant event, showcasing the richness of Mexican heritage, brings together artists, businesses, and enthusiasts, all in support of cherishing Latino and Indigenous arts and cultures. It serves as Xico's primary fundraiser of the year.

WHY ATTEND:

Immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of Mexico! From Oaxaca's lively palettes to Jalisco's elegance and Yucatan's simplicity, the event encourages attendees to adorn themselves in attire inspired by the diverse tapestry of Mexican regions. Business attire is also welcomed.

Experience live painting by 12 artists followed by a signature dinner. The Live Art Auction will take place during dinner and will showcase 30-35 stunning pieces available for purchase. In addition, the online auction will showcase 12-15 beautiful art pieces. 

Witness the presentation of the prestigious Virginia E. Cárdenas Arts Advocate award to this year’s recipient, Ruben E. Alvarez, honoring his impactful contributions to Xico and the Phoenix arts community.  Jose Cárdenas, Xico Emeritus Board Member and Dinner Committee Chair, recommended Ruben as the deserving recipient of the award. The Virginia E. Cárdenas Arts Advocate Award honors the memory and legacy of Virginia as a passionate advocate for the arts and her steadfast commitment of more than 30 years to Xico in a variety of roles as well as her service on the Arizona Commission on the Arts. 

TICKETS & REGISTRATION:

Individual “Xolo” dinner tickets are priced at $300 each which includes the live Xico art auction. For those wishing to participate virtually in bidding, the “Cultura” ticket grants them access to an online Xico art auction (but not to witness the event) for $50 each.
