Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch, the premier Arizona desert resort located at the base of the majestic McDowell Mountains, presents Après Chalet an over-the-top ski château-inspired experience. The over-the-top pop-up is hosted in partnership with Veuve Clicquot, one of the most prolific champagne houses in Reims, France. It will benefit Healing Hearts Animal Rescue, a North Phoenix-based non-profit dedicated to providing a safe haven for neglected, abandoned, or abused animals with passionate and humane treatment and care.

When guests enter Après Chalet, they will feel like they’ve been transported to a high-end ski lodge, with an actual ski lift chair prop and snowy mountain backdrops for photo opportunities. The experience will feature comfortable lounge seating in a cozy atmosphere with multiple fire-pits and over-the-top snow-inspired décor.

Après Chalet will feature a robust menu of signature themed cocktails including the “Altitude” made with London’s finest Ford’s Gin and topped with crisp bubbles. Additional selections include the “Fresh Pow,” a reimagined Whiskey Sour topped with Fee Foam which resembles a thick layer of snow-white froth, and the “Maplenut” featuring Volcan Reposado Tequila, Maraska Orahivac Green Walnut Licqueur, and Woodinville Maple. In partnership with Veuve Clicquot, the pop-up bar will also feature the signature “Chateau Veuve” featuring Belvedere Vodka, Liquid Alchemist’s Tart Blood Orange, Sour Montenegro Lemon topped with a float of Veuve and bitters.

Additionally, guests can select a traditional Forghetti Borghetti ski shot as well as an extensive list of draft beer and sparkling wine, including glass and bottle selections. The event will also provide sweet and savory bites with the options of a large charcuterie board or a s’mores kit in which guests can roast the marshmallows over a fire pit.

A portion of proceeds from Après Chalet will benefit Healing Hearts Animal Rescue. Established in 2005, the organization rescues and rehabilitates abused and neglected animals, from horses to sheep. Healing Hearts provides animals with compassionate care at a refuge ranch located in Cave Creek, Arizona, while they work to place them with new forever homes.
