It’s the season of all things merry and bright! In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, Fellowship Square Historic Mesa is hosting a number of events throughout December for its residents and the community.

Resident Window Decorating Contest

Fellowship Square Historic Mesa’s window decorating contest is one of the most popular and beloved activities for the residents. This fun tradition encourages residents to decorate their windows for all to enjoy. Residents, staff and guests then vote throughout the month on their favorites. Winners will be announced toward the end of the month and prizes will be awarded. On two upcoming occasions, the Candlelight Service and Santa & Chili Night, guests of the community are welcome to come view all the beautiful window displays and cast their votes!

Quad Decorating Party and Call for Donations

In addition to dressing up their homes and windows, residents enjoy decorating the central common areas of Fellowship Square Historic Mesa such as the Quad and community rooms. And more decorations are always welcome! Those that wish to help can deliver donations of exterior and interior decorations to the front office of Fellowship Square Historic Mesa. The residents and staff will have a quad decorating party on Friday, Dec. 1 from noon to 2 p.m., with a pizza party following.

Candlelight Christmas Service

On Thursday, Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. Fellowship Square Historic Mesa invites the community to join its residents and staff for a spiritual Candlelight Christmas Worship Service featuring choir performances and other musical entertainment. Following the service, guests are invited to stroll the grounds, enjoy the merry decor and vote for their favorite window décor.

Santa and Chili Night

Then on Friday, Dec. 22 guests are welcome back to enjoy a fun and festive event featuring free hot chili and hot cocoa, free photos with Santa and another opportunity to view and vote for resident window décor. This event will take place in the Grand Dining Room beginning at 5 p.m.
