Join us for Family Day and Apprentice Open House coming to the Arizona Opera Center for one day only!
Arizona Opera’s Brewster OperaTunity program comes to the Roma & Raymond Wittcoff Black Box Theater! Based on the original fairytale, this family-friendly adaptation of Beauty and the Beast is sure to delight audiences of all ages. When a wealthy merchant's ship is destroyed in a storm, he leaves his family to recover the wreckage. However, he becomes lost and finds a beautiful castle ruled by a horrid Beast. The youngest daughter, Belle, goes to find him, and in doing so, she begins an adventure that challenges everything she thought she knew about family, duty, identity, and love.
While you’re enjoying the performance, stop by our Apprentice Open House at the same location to see what the Arizona Opera Production Apprentices have learned and created during our 2023/23 Season. There will be beautiful costume displays, resume and portfolio presentations, and a chance to ask our Apprentices questions!
