Events: Arizona - Phoenix - Scottsdale

Up-and-coming winemakers from around Arizona will be celebrated on April 15 when the Emerging Winemakers Competition & Symposium returns for its fifth year to Yavapai College in Clarkdale, Arizona, in the heart of the Verde Valley wine country.

Organized by Grand Crew, a Yavapai College Viticulture and Enology student/alumni organization, the event will feature educational seminars, an awards ceremony and a roundtable discussion with the wine competition's seven judges. We have added a separate wine-label design competition for the first time this year. Label submissions will be judged separately from wine submissions.

An "emerging" winemaker is anyone at least 21 years old whose wine is not available commercially. Wine and wine-label submissions are being accepted for the competition through March 31, 2023. For entry forms, submission details, speaker information and schedule, visit www.emergingwinemakers.com.
