National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day is celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 14 and for pastrami lovers, there is no better place to get a fix than Chompie’s. This long-time local brand has become known for its mile-high sandwiches and its pastrami selections are no exception.
Becker’s Brooklyner, for example, features a trifecta of hot pastrami, corned beef and braised brisket piled on double-baked Jewish rye bread while Aaron’s Choice includes hot corned beef and pastrami, Swiss cheese, coleslaw and 1000 Island dressing on an onion roll. The Time’s Square New Yorker combines the best of these with choice of corned beef or pastrami smothered with coleslaw and 1000 Island dressing on double-baked Jewish rye. Of course, guests can always build their own mile-high sandwich with sliced-to-order pastrami and their choice of cheese, toppings and bread.
