Description

November is National Family Caregivers month and with more than 1 in 5 Americans now serving as caregivers, the need for support is only growing.

Duet offers compassionate services to family caregivers and aging adults, free of charge. The nonprofit’s upcoming webinar will give family caregivers the chance to ask medical questions, and seek support from a doctor to help ease some of the many life-changing challenges that come with caring for a loved one.

Dr. Patricio F. Reyes, M.D., is Chief of Neurology and Director of Alzheimer’s Disease & Cognitive Disorders and Traumatic Brain Injury at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix. He has seen firsthand the toll that tending to someone with dementia can take on a family caregiver, and strives daily to care for those who care for others.
