Let’s celebrate AAPI Leadership and meet your 2021 ACEL honorees who are dedicated to making our community great! Come enjoy great company, networking, dinner, entertainment and more. This year we will be awarding the following distinctions: Corporate Leader of the Year, Entrepreneurial Leader of the Year, Education Leader of the Year, and Community Leader of the Year. Featuring a Lion Dance and performance by local sensation Denise Delos Santos.
Keynote Speaker: Rudy Pamintuan, Managing Director of Sherman Worldwide. Rudy has served as an appointee for President George W. Bush – advising the President on Asian American and Pacific Island issues as Chairman of the President’s Advisory Council on AAPI. As an appointee, Rudy was also tapped to promote KORUS (US-Korea Free Trade Agreement), CAFTA (Central America Free Trade Agreement) and traveled extensively representing the White House at a variety of high profile events. In 2008, Rudy served as a senior advisor to United Nations President Miguel d’Escoto Brockman. Rudy was appointed to serve on the US Delegation for the 2015 APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit in Makati, Philippines. Recently, Rudy served on the President-Elect Donald J Trump Transition Team. Rudy currently serves on the Nevada Advisory Committee to the US Commission on Civil Rights.

Corporate Leader of the Year: Larry Hofer, Cox Communications – Vice President of People Services for Cox Communications’ Southwest Region.
Entrepreneurial Leader of the Year: Cindy Louie, Hawker Street Market – a multi-disciplinary designer, community leader, entrepreneur and festival producer.
Education Leader of the Year: Dr. Clyne Namuo, Phoenix College – Interim President of Phoenix College.
Community Leader of the Year: Ethel Luzario, The 3000 Club – co-founder of The 3000 Club, a 501(c)3, food rescue, medical reclamation, and humanitarian outreach.
