This Thanksgiving, 24 Carrots is offering a vegan twist on the traditional turkey dinner with a “PlantsGiving” menu that is not only vegan but also includes gluten-free options. The following items are available for 24 Carrots ThanksLiving To Go, available for pick-up only on Wednesday, November 24 from noon to 8:00 p.m.:

Entrée —

Roasted Turkey Lasagna with seasonal vegetables, greens, house ricotta, roasted tomato sauce and cauliflower bechamel (serves four to six, $35/tray)

Roasted Turkey and Mac Casserole in squash (GF) (serves 4, $30/tray)

Sides —

Lentil, Wild Grain and Vegetable Stuffing with fig and pomegranate, $20/quart

Butter Roasted Sweet Potato with miso-ginger almonds and fried raisins, $20/quart

Double Garlic Mashed Potatoes with mushroom herb gravy, $15/quart

Mushroom-Herb Gravy, $15/quart

The Greenest Green Bean Casserole featuring seasonal green vegetables in a creamy cashew bechamel sauce with crispy fried onions, $20/quart

Harvest Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette, $14

Coconut Butter Biscuits or GF Bread/Biscuit, $10/4

Cranberry Orange Relish, $5/8 ounces

Macaroni and Cheese with house breadcrumbs (not GF), $20/quart

Mini Pumpkin Pie (GF), $30/4

Autumn Caramel Apple Cake (GF), $18/six-inch cake

This holiday menu is available to order as an individual complete meal, family meals and a la carte. A la carte prices and quantities are noted above. Individual meals are $35 each (including one entrée, one serving of each side and one serving of caramel apple cake) and family meals feed four people for $130 (including choice of one entrée, a family portion of each side, and a family potion of pumpkin cream snickerdoodle cake). Reheat instructions are included.

A portion of the proceeds from this year’s PlantsGiving will benefit 24 Carrots “Carrot Cares” initiative that serves to reduce food insecurity in the community. Order online via www.24carrotscafe.com.
