Founded by Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson in 1959, Childhelp® has brought the light of hope and healing into the lives of more than 11 million children as a leading national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping abused, neglected and at-risk children.

It is estimated that five children die in the U.S. every day from abuse and neglect, and the Childhelp Children’s Center of Arizona has served more than 140,000 children in the Valley since 1998. As the center continues to serve children locally and as a model for programs nationwide, the community’s support of the Drive the Dream fundraiser is a major factor in Childhelp’s success in providing intervention, treatment and prevention of child abuse in Arizona. Childhelp’s programs and services include residential treatment services, children’s advocacy centers, therapeutic foster care, group homes and child abuse prevention, education and training.
