Considered to be one of the major contemporary talents in the Studio Jewelry movement, Schmidcreates flamboyant, dramatic precious jewelry that combines wearable forms with a theatrical, larger-than-life esthetic.

Each piece of wearable fine art represents Schmid’s interaction of visual elements with invisible inspiration, his attention to detail for which he is known the world over, as well as his signature fusion of fine gold and silver, gemstone settings, and the fluid movement that is frozen in time through his art.
