TheFREE festivities run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The District Stage. Enjoy elaborate dragon dance performances, festival activities, giveaways and games in conjunction with 9 Dragons Kung Fu and Great Hearts Academy. Also referred to as Chinese New Year, the Lunar New Year begins on the new moon, which this year falls on Jan. 25. Each year is associated with aZodiac animal, and this year we will enter The Year of The Rat.
