EJ’s Auction & Appraisal’s 2nd Annual New Year’s Day Auction will feature high-end antiques and collectibles from several affluent estates. Items expecting to create a bidding frenzy include an antique Chinese painted porcelain table screen, a pair of Frank Lloyd Wright stained glass door panels, a 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, antique silver Russian icons dating back to the mid-1800s, and oil paintings by David Burliuk and Henry Hubbell. Doors open at 10 a.m. on January 1,  with the New Year’s Day auction starting at noon. A free public preview takes place Monday and Tuesday, December 30-31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Collectors also can preview items and bid online.
