One of the Most “Arizona” Ways to Spend New Years in Scottsdale Returns

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. — Celebrate the holidays with the return of a Scottsdale tradition, the 13th Annual ArabHorse Farm Tour! From Saturday, December 28, 2019, through Wednesday, January 1, 2020, Arabian horse farms in North Scottsdale open to the public!

Families, animal lovers, Arizona residents, visitors, and equine enthusiasts are invited to behind-the-scenes events and experiences, and a New Year’s celebration unlike any other.

Every year since 2007, the ArabHorse Farm Tour launches the Arabian Horse industry into the season, as the unofficial predecessor to the world’s largest Arabian horse show, the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show (also known as the “Super Bowl of the Arabian World”).

For decades, royalty and the world’s elite have sought Arabian horses from a handful of Scottsdale’s exclusive farms.

It’s Arizona’s biggest little industry, and once a year the gates to these estates open to the public for days of fun and excitement.

Another unknown fact about the industry? They know how to throw a good party.

“We are so happy for five days of farm tours this year! What could be better than enjoying time in the outdoors, sipping wine with good company, family and friends and getting up-close and personal with these gorgeous creatures for a good cause?” David Cains, ArabHorse Farm Tour co-founder and owner of Stonewall Farms.

Highbrow stereotypes of Arabian horses aside, the farm tours are neighborly, casual and seek to inspire respect and empathy for animals through an unparalleled experience to connect with them. The ArabHorse Farm Tour annually supports charitable foundations including the annual benefit auction for Healing Hearts Animal Rescue & Refuge, which raises money to help horses that are in distress, abandoned or abused.
