Childhelp Kicks Off Annual Drive the Dream Gala

PHOENIX (November 26, 2019) – Childhelp, the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit advocating for abused and neglected children, celebrated the annual Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala Kick-off Party on Oct. 16, 2019. Ivy Ciolli, this year’s chair, along with vice chairs Dru Hammer and Jacqueline Nerguizian, hosted the kick-off at the OTTO Car Club in North Scottsdale.

“It is a true honor to return as a chair for this event dedicated to innocent children in need,” Ciolli sad. “This year, Dru, Jacqueline and I are focused on increasing awareness surrounding the child abuse epidemic and with the support of our community, we will help push the needle in the right direction – an occasion worth celebrating.” 

Special guests at the kick-off included Childhelp founders Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, Maricopa County Sheriff Paul Penzone and Veronica Penzone, Childhelp Celebrity Ambassador Paulie Harraka, Pat and Bob Bondurant, Arizona Supreme Court Justice Bill Montgomery and more.

Childhelp will celebrate the Mary Poppins-themed 16th Annual Childhelp Drive the Dream Gala on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020 at the Phoenician Resort. Proceeds from the event will support the lifesaving services provided to abused and neglected children in Phoenix through the Childhelp Children’s Advocacy Center of Arizona dedicated to Linda Pope.
