UMOM, a local shelter caring for homless women and youth, presents their 11th Annual Walk to End Homelessness on Sept. 21. With the help of our community participants, we can aid in providing the best shelters possible and with shorter wait lists. From 6 to 9 a.m. on the Sept. 21, bring the whole family and walk in support of a wonderful cause. After the walk, spend your day at the zoo enjoying the animals with family and friends.
