Come Have Fun in Yarnell – All Day Long!
A highlight of Yarnell Daze is the HWY 89 PARADE. Grand Marshal is Dolan Ellis the Arizona's Official State Balladeer will also be also performing on Main Stage. The parade is something wonderful with antique cars, floats, horses, clowns,fire trucks and more. You will find art/craft vendors at shaded Main Vendors Field and other locations. Our young Yarnell Fire Department Cadets will demonstrate firefighter skills. The Fine Arts Show and KidZone with games, arts and crafts all located at the Yarnell Regional Community Center, special show for youngsters at the Yarnell Library, or find something unique at one of our many shops. The Main Stage Bar and Grill presents for your entertainment and dancing delight the featured live music of Red Neck Rock Stars, watch other performers, kick back with a beer or glass of wine and great food. Additionally, a popular Easy Listening stage located in the Vendor Field will feature a myriad of local talent. AZAirNet is providing free WiFi through Main Street. Try your luck on a raffle prizes and 50/50 tickets. Take time to visit The Shrine of St Joseph, or the AZ State Granite Mountain Hotshot Trail. Check check out the Yarnell Hill Fire Memorial Park (under construction) in the center of the activities. Parking is available in designated areas or along the street after the parade clears. Note traffic on AZ St Rt 89 between mile markers 276.5-278 will be restricted from 9:45 to 11:00, in both directions, due to parade. Free shuttle service and pedicab for tips available for your convenience. Yarnell is nestled in the Weaver Mountains at 4,800 ft elevation “where the desert breeze meets the mountain air” on historic Highway 89, between Wickenburg and Prescott. There are many unique antique and gift shops and wonderful restaurants spread out over a mile. The area's residents are proud of their creative go-to-it attitude.
