“I want your blood” takes on a whole new meaning this Halloween season! Local outdoor shopping center, Park West, is holding a blood donation drive in partnership with United Blood Services on Saturday, October 27. One blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives.
The event is happening on October 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Park West, located at 9744 West Northern Avenue in Peoria. The United Blood Services Bloodmobile donation unit will be there. The first 25 people that sign up prior to October 27 will receive one Harkins Theatres movie pass. The pass must be picked up at the donation drive after the appointment has been fulfilled. Those interested in donating, and qualifying for the free movie pass, must sign up by contacting the Park West management office at 623-877-9771 or visiting www.Bloodhero.com and using sponsor code: ParkWest. Space is limited. Those that sign up will also be entered to win a $25 gift certificate to the Farmer’s Market at Park West that happens every Saturday.
