Adoption event returns for second year with free admission, live entertainment, food trucks, kid activities and pups
WHO: LovePup Foundation
WHAT: The #LovePup Family Fest is returning for its second year on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Vertuccio Farms in Mesa, where
attendees will have the opportunity to adopt a dog from one of the 30 animal shelters onsite.
#LovePup was founded by 104.7 KISS FM radio host, Johnjay Van Es, and his wife Blake, with the mission to find forever homes for stray or abandoned dogs in the Phoenix area.
“This is an opportunity for our foundation, with the help of the community, to raise funds, supplies and awareness for adoptable dogs in Phoenix,” said Johnjay Van Es, the founder of the LovePup Foundation. “The main goal of the event is for every dog onsite to find a new family, receiving the love and care they deserve. Last year we were able to give every dog onsite a forever home, and we hope to see that again this year.”
The evening will feature a variety of entertainment including live musical performances by The Rich Berra Band, Madison Beer, Ocean Park Standoff, and Ashlee Simpson & Evan Ross, as well as food trucks, kid activities and most importantly, hundreds of adoptable pets.
Donations are highly encouraged and admission to the #LovePup Family Fest is free when guests bring in a pet supply donation item. Attendees are even welcome to bring their well-behaved dogs out to enjoy the fun.
The following donations items are appreciated: puppy pads, paper towels, cleaning spray, gloves, dog food, dog treats, puppy food, canned food, Pedialyte, laundry detergent, towels, trash bags, dog bowls and dish soap.

WHY: Johnjay and Blake are strong believers that all dogs deserve the best possible home and the #LovePup Family Fest is just one of their many adoption initiatives. Not only does this event bring together the entire Phoenix community to help save hundreds of dogs up for adoption, but it creates a fun place for families to gather.
