Events: Arizona - Phoenix - Scottsdale

The Urban Farm (6750 N 13th Place – Phoenix, AZ 85014) is hosting FREE tours of their 1/3 acre property with over 70 fruit trees, rainwater and greywater harvesting, a (primarily) edible landscape, chickens, and two different kinds of solar panels.

The Urban Farm is Phoenix’s first environmental showcase urban farm. The property is designed so that you can experience first-hand some of the many things that you can do to live a more environmentally-friendly life. Greg will give you a guided tour through the property and cover many different aspects of turning an urban property into a food forest. 

This is a free tour with a requested $10 donation.

The Tour starts at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5th and 8:30 or 10 am on Saturday, October 6th. Tours will last approximately 90 minutes, including time for questions.

NOTE: This is an outdoor event as we tour the yard and while the weather is great for our plants this time of year it can be a bit warm for our persons, so please bring water, wear sun protection and wear comfortable shoes.
