WHO: Award-winning brewery, Helio Basin Brewing Co. invites police officers, firefighters, first responders and the general public of all ages for a family-friendly challenge at the 2nd Annual Police V. Firefighters Throwdown.
WHAT: This community event marks the launch of this year’s Blue Line Blonde beer, brewed by the community’s first-responders. Helio Basin Brewing Co. brewed a Blue Line Blonde with Blue Agave with the help of local law enforcement officers that benefits the 100 Club of AZ and Huss Brewing Company created a Fire Station #2 Red Ale benefiting firefighter charities. Ten percent of all proceeds of the Blue Line Blonde will benefit the 100 Club of Arizona, a non-profit organization providing financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty. The Blue Line Blonde Police V. Firefighters throwdown will feature live music, a firetruck, a vintage police car and more.
