Description

If shopping and wine sound like a great time, mark the calendar for mid-May, when the Vintage & Vino wine and shopping showcase takes over Queen Creek’s Horseshoe Park.

Slated for 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, May 18 and 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at the arena located at 20464 E Riggs Road in Queen Creek, Vintage & Vino’s spring installment will welcome more than 100 vendors, dozens of wineries and thousands of attendees in search of something special to sip on, or the perfect gift. Think all things shabby, chippy, antique, handmade and up-cycled, from furniture, attire and home goods to jewelry, signage, decor and more.

Rise and shine with a mimosa from the onsite mimosa bar or stop by for a wine tasting lounge before working your way through the vendor booths. A Kids Zone will have plenty of activities for the event’s youngest attendees, while guests can also enjoy live acoustic music while some of the state and region’s top food trucks and vendors serve up snacks and sustenance for guests.

New this year are “Make and Take” opportunities available throughout the venue, where guests can stop by fully interactive booths and create something one-of-a-kind they can display in their home or offer up as a gift. Friday night’s event also features newly expanded evening hours, making Vintage & Vino an ideal destination for date night or a girls’ night out.

“This event continues to grow in size and scope with each installment, so whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time attendee, May’s event brings something new to the table,” said Tiffany Shultz, one of the event’s organizers. “It’s a great way to support local artisans while scoring something special for yourself at the same time.”

Vintage & Vino produced by Levitate Agency has partnered will partner A New Leaf to benefit families and individuals in crisis in the valley. A New Leaf is located in Mesa and provides a variety of services for those in need. A pasta drive will be set up on-site to help combat hunger among those in need during the summer months.
