As National Adopt A Shelter Dog Month begins, Jacksons Car Wash and HALO Animal Rescue are partnering to create greater awareness about animal rescue by launching three initiatives in October geared to helping homeless animals across the Valley find their forever homes, including free car washes for new pet parents, a donation drive seeking out much-needed pet shelter supplies and a special adoption event at Tempe Marketplace on Oct. 28.

As part of its Jacksons Cares Community Partnership Program and ongoing mission to create greater awareness among its customers for organizations having a positive impact on the community, Jacksons will give every pet parent who opens their home and adopts a dog or cat through any HALO location or event in October a free Express Car Wash pass (value $3) valid at any location in Arizona.

As well, Jacksons will also be housing donation boxes in their car wash lobbies, which are open from 7:30 a.m. too 6 p.m. daily, for much-needed pet items during the month at all 10 Valley locations. Every customer who donates an item from Oct. 1-31 will receive a FREE Express Car Wash. While a complete list will be available at both Jacksons Car Wash and HALO’s website, the most in-demand items, include:

• New toys for cats and dogs;
• Pup Peroni and Beggin Strip treats for dogs;

The month-long awareness campaign will culminate with a special adoption event on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jacksons Car Wash’s Tempe Marketplace location (2090 E Rio Salado Pkwy, Tempe, 85281). New pet parents who adopt at the event on Oct. 28 will receive a free full-serve Works wash valued at $18.99.
