Events: Arizona - Phoenix - Scottsdale

In an effort to help every puppy find their furr-ever home, Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) is holding a Puppy Pop-Up Adoption Event on Thursday, Nov. 19 in partnership with Luci’s Urban Concepts. The event will be at 7100 North 12th Street in central Phoenix on the lawn in front of Pomelo at the Orchard and Luci’s at the Orchard. From noon to 3 p.m., guests can adopt puppies of all ages and learn more about all that AAWL does. During the day of the event, Splurge at the Orchard (also located on site) will be donating 10 percent off its sales to AAWL.  

Luci’s Urban Concepts was founded in 2009 with the birth of Luci’s Healthy Marketplace that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The space is combined with a coffee bar and marketplace. Since then, Luci’s Urban Concepts has added three new locations as part of a two and a half acre adaptive reuse project located on a former citrus orchard in central Phoenix. The property includes three concepts including Pomelo at the Orchard- a place for straightforward American food and drinks with an Arizona twist,  Luci’s at the Orchard- a combination of a café and gourmet market with locally-roasted Press coffee and smoothies and Splurge at the Orchard- an ice cream & candy shop with freshly made ice cream and novelty items.
