Join Duet on November 2nd as we gather with expert panelists during National Caregiver Month to share with caregivers how to navigate physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being through periods of high stress.
The symposium is comprised of two separate sessions. The morning session from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. is designed for all family caregivers and professionals. The session, which includes time for lunch and socialization, is $20 for family caregivers and $40 for professionals. A free on-site adult day health program will be provided by Beatitudes at Home so that caregivers can attend. Scholarships are available as well.
The afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., which is free to attend is a training for all professionals and volunteers interested in becoming a video series facilitator for Duet’s new family caregiver video series, “Finding Meaning and Hope”, based on Loving Someone Who Has Dementia, by Pauline Boss, PhD.
