Description
The College of Veterinary Medicine at Midwestern's Glendale Campus will host an open house on Saturday, Sept. 16 rom 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Everyone from pet owners to aspiring veterinarians are welcome to attend.
Open House Activities Include:
- Tours of the College of Veterinary Medicine clinical facilities
- "Birthing Betsy" calf delivery simulation
- Teddy bear surgery - bring your "injured" small stuffed animal for repair!
- Canine physical rehabilitation
- Animal forensics
- Horse and cow physical exam skills
- Dog CPR simulation
- Hands-on bandaging with an artificial horse
- Demonstration of horse acupuncture
- Anatomy displays
- Household medications and pet safety
- Life of a vet student/how to become a veterinarian
