Monday, April 10, 2017: Golf tournament followed by awards ceremony
The Tournament:
Five Man Scramble: Four amateur players teamed with an NFL, NBA, MLB of NHL Hall-of-Famer or sports celebrity as a Team Captain. Contests and prizes await all players, who will also be treated to a special tournament gift package. Food and beverages will be provided. All players are invited to the awards dinner ceremony.
The Charitable Cause:
Net proceeds from this event benefit “POP” Prostate On-Site Project, a 501(c)(3) foundation. POP has mobile medical screening units that travel throughout Arizona offering free or low-cost prostate cancer screenings. This year in Arizona, more than 4,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. Tragically, 600 will die. Many of these deaths could be prevented – simply by detecting the disease early.
