Treasure and bargain hunters across the East Valley won’t have to travel far to get their fix this spring, because Front Porch Pickins Vintage & Handmade Market is setting up shop in Chandler.
The two-day vendor and shopping showcase is slated for 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Chandler’s Tumbleweed Park, and for the first time ever, a Vintage & Classic Car Show is also on the calendar and will run simultaneously. Event attendees can get an up-close look at classic cars and peruse more than one hundred booths brimming over with all things shabby, retro, handmade and upcycled, from the Native American and Asian artifacts of Adam’s Fine Art to the one-of-a-kind baby goods and gifts from Gold Digger Crafts.
Those seeking something new and novel for the home can check out the custom, farmhouse-style woodworking pieces of Scottsdale Design Co., while La Vida Patina’s boho industrial goods and the His, Hers and Ours Custom Shave Shop’s vintage-inspired safety razors serve as additional draws.
Front Porch Pickins will also continue its tradition of showcasing some of the area’s top food trucks. Woodfired pizzas from local favorite Doughlicious are among the culinary options available at April’s event, and crepes, salads, frozen yogurt and other snacks and sweets will also be available for purchase.
