Bag pipes, green drinks, live music & corned beef highlight a full day of Irish festivities.

Valley residents looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at one of the Valley’s oldest Irish pubs, Padre Murphy’s.

On Friday, March 17, 2017, thousands of St. Patty’s Day revelers are expected to attend Padre Murphy’s 24th annual St. Patrick’s Day Under the Big Top. Doors open, and the green drinks begin flowing, at 10 a.m., along with a traditional corned beef and cabbage feast, complemented by leprechauns and a full lineup of live music, headlined by Status who will be flying in from Las Vegas. Other acts include:

                          12 p.m.:         DJ Patrick     

                          12:30 p.m.:   Brid Dowler and the Big Fellahs

                          2 p.m.:            Michael Patrick Gallager Step Dancers

                          3:30 p.m.:      Rick Lenzi and the Roustabouts

                          5 p.m.:            J David Sloan and Western Bred

                          6:30 p.m.:      Mesa Caledonian Bag Pipe Band

                          7 p.m.:            Herndon Brothers & HBJ Horns with Colleen Callahan and J David Sloan

                          9:30 p.m.:      Status

Also a family friendly celebration, children are welcome to attend until 5 p.m. Face painters, leprechauns and clowns will be on-site to celebrate from 2-5 p.m., after which it becomes an adult-only event (ages 21+).

The cost will be $10 cover charge after 2 p.m. and $15 cover charge after 6 p.m.
