In Litchfield, AZ the food festival returns this year Saturday, Apr. 8, noon to 4 p.m., to the original location of Litchfield Park, alongside the historic community on Old Litchfield Rd.

"Flavors of the West is quickly becoming the West Valley's premier, signature culinary event," Flavors Co-Chairman, David Jones, said. "Our 5th Annual Event expects a major increase in attendees from 2016, mostly because of our move back to Litchfield Park," said Jones.

UNLIMITED SAMPLES.  More than 30 restaurants are expected to pack the block of Old Litchfield Rd., serving delicious samples featuring everything from seafood to Asian cuisine. Participating restaurants to date are:

THE HONEY FOUNDATION. Event proceeds will benefit local non-profit, The Honey Foundation. The foundation focuses on spreading kindness and now provides a Kindness Education Program for K-12 Schools. Their programs help students understand the broad importance of kindness in our world and how kindness leads to success in life. So far, THF's Kindness Education Program has already reduced extreme disciplinary action by over 50% in 2 years. Flavors of the West proceeds will help The Honey Foundation raise money to support Kindness Education Programs in schools here in Arizona and across the United States.

• Beer Garden. Festival-goers can quench their thirst at the beer garden offering a variety of craft beers and more.

• Cooking Demonstrations. Acclaimed Arizona chefs take the stage to share their best tips and tricks.

• Live Entertainment. Guests can enjoy music from live bands and dueling pianos.

• Action Zone. A super interactive zone keeps everyone entertained throughout the day with Pro BMX Show, rock climbing, bounce houses, games and much more.

TICKETS. Purchase tickets at www.FlavorsAZ.com. Early bird admission to the event is $35 through March 15 and includes unlimited food and five drink tickets. Early bird VIP tickets are $75 through March 15 and include early entrance to the event (11am-12pm) and access to the exclusive VIP Garden. Inside, there is an extended bar stocked with spirits, live dueling piano show, shaded seating, exclusive dessert bar and signature gift. Kids 12 and under are FREE.
