galleryandrea4Since 2004 Gallery Andrea has been a staple of the Scottsdale art scene in Old Town Scottsdale’s Gallery District. It is owned and operated by international artist Andrea de Kerpel-Zak and her daughter Andrea Zakrzewski.

Featuring the beautiful artwork of its namesake Andrea de Kerpely-Zak, her daughter Andrea Zakrzewski as well as work by several prominent artists from around the world including, Dace Ivey, Joanna Zjawinska, Foy, Colin Fry, James Lumbers, Andreas Schwab, Nemesh, Eva Makk, and Americo Makk.

Gallery Andrea showcases diverse selection of artwork and styles including floral, abstract, figurative, landscape and sculpture. This fall they are currently spotlighting the sculpture of Swiss artist Andreas Schwab, who has been sculpting for over 35 years showcasing his latest work "evening breeze, highlighting his love of the ladies with shoes.galleryandrea 6For over 35 years Andrea de Kerpely-Zak has been creating and exhibiting her mesmerizing artworks and is collected internationally. Known for colorful and delicate Impressionist flowers, which the artist says, “symbolizes freedom and healing,” which she has been creating since 1978 after an unforgettable visit to Hungary inspired by a field of wild flowers she saw along Hungary’s border.

Many of her paintings explore the emotion of a particular moment of the day while examining the idea and the effect of the light. She utilizes acrylic paint on canvas that she then waters down creating watercolor effect, which allows her to work quickly on multiple paintings at a time. Her subject matter ranges from desert plants to landscapes, but her main focus is on flowers.

Meet the dynamic mother daughter duo when you visit the Andrea Gallery and experience their incredible artwork for yourself! The gallery participates in the Thursday Scottsdale ArtWalk hosting a special reception from 7pm to 9pm each week. The gallery is located at 7019 E.
