First Friday means Native + You ( NU) at the Heard Museum featuring their popular evening and celebration of the arts  each month and May is featuring 'Locavore Bash'.

NU highlights “fresh events to the Heard to share the cultural pulse of Phoenix and the Southwest today and free evening admission to the museum!” May Day at the Heard Museum will feature an incredible evening with “Locavore Bash” on, May 1st that will showcase a farmer’s market, tastings, food booths, and music in the Central Courtyard. The farmers market will be showcasing several local vendors offering a diverse selection of local treats including AZpops, B Naked Chocolate, Desert Delights, Goldwater Foods, Pickled Perfection, Nutwhats/Nuts 4 Brittle and Trendy Truffles.

While you are in downtown Phoenix be sure to explore the amazing art scenes featuring over 100 galleries, artist studios, and local businesses participating each month with extended hours on First Friday’s running from 6-10pm.
