Chicks rock and it’s time to celebrate it! Debuting for the first time in Arizona comes Chicks with Picks Music Festival where only the musical talents of the ladies will take the stage in Tempe Beach Park on Saturday, March 21. The adored singer, songwriter and guitarist from Sedona, Arizona, Michelle Branch will headline at the all-day festival singing such unforgettable hits as “Everywhere,” “All You Wanted” and the Santa collaboration “The Game of Love.” Branch is just one of about 70 artists who will transform Tempe into a high energy musical extravaganza, all to benefit the Kiwanis Sunrise of Tempe.
Other female artists include country singers Sarah Buxton and Jessi Colter, AZ Idol Bethany Wright and more local chicks! Celebrity MCs will be on hand to introduce the chicks on Main Stage and to sign autographs.
There will of course be great food, drinks and spirits along with a VIP area that will include a private bar and delicious cuisine from Mad Coyote Joe.
Specialty vendors will fill the park and guests can test out their own vocal chords with the Open Mic and Karaoke Stage. Yes, even the men can sing. Bring the youngsters because Tempe Beach Park is setting up a Kid Zone with fun activities including face painting.
Males and females are invited to grab their blankets and enjoy the music and festivities running from 2 to 10 p.m. Tickets are only $25 and kids 12 and under get in free with paid adult. VIP tickets are $100 each and include access to VIP area, four complimentary drinks and May Coyote Joe food. About Chicks with Picks: Founded by “a couple of chicks with a vision,” Chicks with Picks wanted to provide a platform that showcases “up and coming” female singers and songwriters (Acoustic and Full Bands). Co-Founded by Pandy Raye and Rhonda Hitchcock, the Chicks With Picks is held every week at either the Buffalo Chip, Aunt Chilada’s, Joe’s Grotto, Skye (Raymonds Lounge) and Pranksters. They debuted their first festival last year at the Buffalo Chip campground.
