Desert Ridge is turning up the flavor with a lineup of four new culinary and cocktail destinations, inviting guests to embark on a global tasting tour without leaving North Phoenix. The center’s newest additions: Nadu, Kajiken Ramen, Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse, and Globe in the Dark will open over the next year, bringing Michelin-ranked dishes, international fare, and immersive experiences to the northside hub.
Leading the way is Nadu, formerly Feringhee Modern Indian Cuisine, helmed by acclaimed Chef Sujan Sarkar. The Chicago-based restaurant, recently added to the 2025 Michelin Guide, will open in February 2026. Guests can expect a menu that celebrates India’s diverse culinary regions with dishes that merge traditional spice profiles and locally sourced ingredients in a contemporary, stylish setting.
Kajiken Ramen, a celebrated concept from Nagoya, Japan, will debut by the end of this year. The 1,720-square-foot restaurant specializes in abura soba, a rich, soup-less ramen featuring thick noodles tossed in an imported signature sauce. With customizable toppings and authentic Japanese décor, Kajiken promises to become a new must-visit destination for ramen enthusiasts.
Opening in summer 2026, Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse brings the bold flavors of Southern Brazil to Desert Ridge. Guests will enjoy an authentic Churrasco dining experience with fire-roasted meats carved tableside and a gourmet hot and cold table filled with fresh vegetables, cheeses, cured meats, and classic sides, perfect for family gatherings or celebrations.
For those seeking a worldly escape, Globe in the Dark will open in early 2026 as an intimate, 800-square-foot cocktail lounge. The bar will feature globally inspired cocktails, “Business Class Boarding” happy hours, and a passport-style loyalty program encouraging guests to sip their way around the world, all paired with seasonal small plates that celebrate international flavors.
