Coffee Plantation, a beloved Valley institution since the 1980s, has reopened its doors after a major renovation that revitalized both its look and offerings. The grand reopening celebration is set for November 20, at 7366 E. Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, where guests can enjoy live music, complimentary samples from the new menu, and a first look at the café’s modernized space.

“Our goal was not just to preserve the lovable aspects of Coffee Plantation from back in the day but also to transform it into a destination where people can sit down, enjoy delicious meals alongside their favorite coffees, and feel at home,” Owner Omar Karkoutli said.
For generations, Coffee Plantation has served as a welcoming retreat for locals to connect, relax, and enjoy their favorite brews. With the growing demand for cafes that offer not only premium coffee but also nutritious, flavorful meals, Karkoutli and his team reimagined Coffee Plantation as a full dining destination that celebrates quality, creativity, and community.

The new culinary lineup takes inspiration from global flavors and techniques, featuring items such as Lavender Matcha, Pistachio Matcha, Dubai Chocolate and Strawberry dessert cups, Scandinavian salmon eggs benedict, and a selection of fresh salads, wraps, and made-to-order crepes and waffles.
All coffee beans are locally sourced from a Valley roaster, underscoring Coffee Plantation’s ongoing commitment to supporting Arizona’s small businesses. A state-of-the-art espresso machine has also been added to ensure every beverage meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

“Creating this new menu was truly a labor of love,” Karkoutli said. “We listened closely to our loyal guests’ feedback and worked diligently to deliver exactly what they wanted.”
The renovation completely transformed the café’s interior. Guests will step into an inviting space adorned with warm oak beams, a soothing sage green backsplash, and lush hanging plants; elements that create an organic yet elevated atmosphere perfect for relaxation, conversation, or remote work.

Coffee Plantation invites longtime fans and new visitors to experience its renewed charm during the grand reopening event on November 20. The celebration will feature live performances, complimentary tastings from the updated menu, and a chance to explore the refreshed design that pays homage to the café’s legacy while embracing its modern future.
