We’re used to seeing the Arizona Cardinals work their magic on the football field. Next week, Valley dwellers have the chance to watch them work their magic…while juggling steaks and glasses of wine. Morton’s The Steakhouse will host the third annual Larry Fitzgerald Celebrity Server Event on Monday, Oct. 3 at 7:00 p.m., at the restaurant’s Scottsdale location at Kierland Commons.
This exclusive event will bring together many Arizona Cardinals players and celebrity friends to serve Morton’s signature cuisine and fine wine to tables of Valley residents. (In past years, the likes of Arizona Cardinals Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt, Darnell Dockett, Calais Campbell, Joey Porter, Steve Breaston, Early Doucet, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Reggie Wells, Beanie Wells and former Arizona Diamondbacks player Luis Gonzalez joined in the fundraising fun). Guests will have the opportunity to take part in a live and silent auction, featuring unique sports memorabilia, in support of Fitzgerald’s two charities: The Carol Fitzgerald Memorial Fund and the Larry Fitzgerald First Down Fund.
The Larry Fitzgerald Celebrity Server Event will benefit two of the football star’s charities. The Carol Fitzgerald Memorial Fund, which aims to help victims of AIDS, breast cancer, and other diseases his mother was involved in supporting, and the Larry Fitzgerald First Down Fund, which supports youth organizations throughout the country through resources and funding.
“The Celebrity Server event has made it possible for the two organizations I’m personally passionate about to become part of an annual event that our community is eager to support,” Fitzgerald says. “The money we have raised in past years to help individuals and families across the country is inspiring. I look forward to the impact of this year’s event.”
Tickets for the The Larry Fitzgerald Celebrity Server Event are $500 per person, with various sponsorship opportunities also available. Reservations can be made by calling Morton’s The Steakhouse in Scottsdale at 480.951.4440, or online at http://mortonsmsllarryfitzgerald.eventbrite.com/.
