Mendocino Farms Brings “Eat Happy” to Arcadia

Arcadia is getting another fresh addition to its dining scene, and this one comes with sandwiches, salads and plenty of reasons to “Eat Happy.”

Mendocino Farms, the California-born fast-casual concept known for chef-driven creations and its welcoming approach to dining, will open its third Arizona location September 1 on Indian School Road. Following the brand’s Valley debuts in Gainey Ranch and North Scottsdale, the new restaurant joins Arcadia neighbors including Doughbird, Hash Kitchen and CAVA.

Designed as a neighborhood gathering spot, the new Mendocino Farms will offer a bright, welcoming setting for everything from a quick lunch to an easy dinner with friends. It will also offer customizable catering for nearby offices, celebrations and other gatherings. And while the restaurant has plenty of familiar favorites, Arcadia diners will be among the first to try several new menu offerings.

The Fajita Steak Salad is loaded with steak, roasted peppers and onions, charred jalapeños, roasted corn, black beans, jicama, cherry tomatoes, avocado, pepita crunch, cilantro, kale and romaine, tossed in Jalapeño Ranch and served with chipotle salsa. The same makes its way into the Fajita Steak Wrap.

Also making its debut is The Seasonal GOAT with Pink Lady Apples, a seasonal spin on one of Mendocino Farms’ signature salads. This autumn version combines tender chicken, marinated goat cheese, crisp Pink Lady apples, dried cranberries, honey-roasted almonds, shaved fennel, pickled red onions and fresh mint with romaine, kale and mixed greens. Farmhouse Vinaigrette and hot citrus honey bring it all together.

Of course, longtime favorites are still on the menu, including the “Not So Fried” Chicken Sandwich, The Farm Club and the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada. The restaurant offers a dedicated kids’ menu with options such as Crispy Chicken Tenders and a Grilled Turkey & Cheddar Sandwich, made with the same quality ingredients as the main menu.

“The Valley has welcomed Mendocino Farms with incredible enthusiasm since we first opened in Scottsdale,” chief marketing officer Alicia Mowder said. “We’re thrilled to continue growing our roots in the community with our new location and bring our chef-driven menu and warm hospitality to even more of our Phoenix-area neighbors.”

To celebrate opening day, guests can sign up for Mendocino Farms’ E-Club and select Arcadia as their favorite location to receive a free entrée with any purchase on September 1. E-Club members will also receive special offers, surprise-and-delight rewards and menu sneak peeks throughout the year.

The new location is also kicking off a community giveback program, offering schools and organizations 50 percent back on in-store fundraiser events during its first three months through the end of the year. Mendocino Farms will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Learn more at mendocinofarms.com
