Three Luxury Homes Taking Shape in Phoenix

From private wellness retreats to detached guest houses, three luxury residential projects underway in the Phoenix area offer a look at the features finding their way into the Valley’s most ambitious homes.

With one custom residence taking shape near Camelback Mountain and two spec homes under construction in Paradise Valley and the Biltmore area, the projects range from approximately $5.95 million to $15 million, with completion dates extending into early 2027.

At the base of Camelback Mountain, a roughly $15 million custom home is nearing completion of its framing phase. Designed with an emphasis on wellness, recreation and entertaining, the residence will have a dedicated wellness space with a gym, steam room, cold plunge and sauna. A sport court, theater room and guest house will add to the property’s amenities.

Further north in Paradise Valley, a new-construction spec home at 5532 N. Quail Place is listed for $10.495 million, according to its current listing. Developed by Emery Lane Homes, the approximately 7,784-square-foot property sits on just over an acre and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

The residence is designed around an open-concept layout with sliding doors connecting the interior to outdoor living spaces. The main home includes five bedrooms, a flex room, a private gym and a theater, along with a chef’s kitchen featuring dual islands and a butler’s pantry.

Outside, a pool, heated spa and outdoor kitchen create additional space. A detached casita adds another layer of flexibility, with its own bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen and laundry facilities.

In Phoenix’s Biltmore area, a $5.95 million spec home at 5025 N. 22nd Street is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027. The approximately 6,248-square-foot property offers convenient access to Biltmore-area shopping, dining and recreation.

The main residence features four bedrooms, a dedicated gym, an office, a flex room and a separate prep kitchen. Large sliding doors support an indoor-outdoor layout, while a resort-style pool and heated spa extend the living space outside. A tennis court provides another recreational feature.

The property also includes a detached guest house with a bedroom, full kitchen, laundry facilities, a separate entrance and its own garage, offering additional privacy for visitors or multigenerational households.

Together, the three projects illustrate how luxury residential construction in the Valley can extend beyond square footage and finishes. Dedicated wellness areas, entertainment rooms and guest accommodations are central features, but each project offers its own interpretation of high-end Arizona living.
