Babbo Italian Eatery is stepping into a new era at the very place its story began. More than 20 years after opening its original Arrowhead location in 2002, the Glendale restaurant has unveiled an expanded space that blends modern design, warm hospitality, and a fresh way for guests to enjoy Babbo at home.
What was once a 22-seat, bring-your-own-bottle neighborhood spot has transformed into a 5,000-square-foot hub featuring a full private dining room, an expanded bar, a wine wall, a refreshed patio, and a new to-go market. The updated space showcases Babbo’s commitment to growth while preserving the heritage that has made it a neighborhood favorite.
A state-of-the-art kitchen, designed in close collaboration with Babbo’s culinary team, anchors the remodel, complete with a new high-performance pizza oven, improved prep areas, and expanded storage to support the restaurant’s bustling service.

One of the most exciting additions is the to-go market, a space where guests can grab classics to enjoy at home. Freshly prepared charcuterie, lasagna, salads, and gelato line the shelves alongside the restaurant’s house-made marinara sauces and salad dressings. Beer and wine are also available to go.

“This expansion is meaningful to our family. Babbo Arrowhead is where our story began. This project honors our roots, and my late husband Ken, who founded Babbo, while also creating space to better serve our community in new ways,” Owner Charlotte Pollack said. “Every detail was designed with our guests and community in mind. Babbo is all about the ‘The Love, The Family’.”

The official grand opening celebration took place in November and coincides with Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, a cause that holds deep personal meaning for the Babbo family.
The restaurant continues to support the fight against pancreatic cancer in honor of founder Ken Pollack through events, including the annual Baseball for Babbo fundraiser scheduled for February 25, 2026. For more information, visit babboitalian.com.
