Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Welcomes New Senior Sous Chef

Sheraton Phoenix Downtown has announced the appointment of Dominique St. Pierre as its new Senior Sous Chef, marking an exciting new chapter for the hotel’s acclaimed culinary program.

In this leadership role, St. Pierre will oversee daily operations at Carcara, the hotel’s signature restaurant celebrated for its Sonoran-inspired dishes and locally sourced ingredients, and &More by Sheraton, a coffee shop, bar, and grab-and-go market, all in one inviting destination.

A graduate of Johnson & Wales University and the Arizona Culinary Institute, St. Pierre brings 16 years of experience and a deep passion for hospitality to her new position. Originally from Rhode Island, she relocated to Arizona in 2017 and made her mark within the state’s culinary scene. Over the past few years, she has built an impressive career with the Marriott family, advancing from a line cook to leadership positions.

Most recently, St. Pierre served as Sous Chef at The Phoenician, where she earned top honors by winning the Masters of the Craft competition at the district and regional levels. Her achievements reflect not only her technical expertise but also her dedication to delivering memorable dining experiences.

Working with Executive Chef John Marchetti, St. Pierre will guide the kitchen staff, contribute to menu innovation, and strengthen Sheraton Downtown’s reputation as a culinary standout in the city.
