Please describe your occupation:

Mechanical Engineer specializing in Healthcare and Higher Education building design.

Why did you go into that industry?

I like the challenge. No two projects are the same and I get to work on some amazing buildings here in the Valley.

What made you want to be apart of Arizona Foothills Magazine’s Most Eligible Phoenicians 2021?

After 2020, I learned I just have to go for it.

Are you an Arizona native? If not, when and why did you move to Arizona?

I am a native Wisconsinte. I moved to Arizona June of 2016 for the job I currently have and realized very quickly how hot it is here.

What is your favorite aspect of Arizona?

The abundance of outdoor activities, breweries, and can’t beat not having to shovel snow.

Have you ever been married in the past? Would you want to get married/remarried?

I have never been married, but it is something I want after finding that special someone.

Do you have any children? Would you like to have children?

I don’t have any kids. I’m open to having kids.

What’s your astrological sign?

Gemini

Would you describe yourself as more of an extrovert or introvert? Or a little bit of both?

I am an absolute extrovert.

You have the weekend off, and no work needs to be done. What are you doing?

Cracking open a beer, putting a brisket on the smoker, and watching the Packers.

Where was your favorite place you have ever visited?  Where do you want to go next?

Munich, Germany for Oktoberfest. It was an amazing time. My next trip I want to go to Ireland.

Favorite movie? Why?

Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It’s a classic that has stood the test of time.

What kind of music is your favorite? Do you have a favorite artist?

I’m all about the early 2000s throwbacks for the nostalgia. My favorite band is Motion City Soundtrack.

Favorite food and favorite restaurant? Why?

Smoked brisket is number 1. My favorite restaurant is Tom’s Thumb, nothing beats a gas station, and BBQ joint tied into one.

Where is your favorite place to grab a cocktail?

Not much of a cocktail drinker. I would much prefer going to Whining Pig and trying some of their new beers.

If you were to take another MEP selectee on a date, where would you take them and why?

Taking a stroll through the Botanical garden, then Old Town for tapas and drinks.

Tell us something that many people may not know about you:

I write and perform stand up comedy along with the occasional improv. I’ve done a couple shows in the Phoenix area
