Why did you go into that industry?

Since childhood, this is where I feel most at home with being myself, a person of creativity, passion, impact, and expression. One of my blessings is, people are very drawn to me as an individual, so my genuine personality takes me in many places career-wise and provides many life experiences.

I am grateful to God for always being my protector and my provider and giving me the tools tailored to me to succeed.

What made you want to be a part of Arizona Foothills Magazine’s Most Eligible Phoenicians 2021?

Most Eligible Phoenicians is a unique experience to broadcast my current status of ‘eligible and dating intentionally’. Not looking for anything serious, just a sacred marriage with my best friend to horseplay and grow close to and merge families with.

Are you an Arizona native? If not, when and why did you move to Arizona?

I am from Texas and originally came here with my family.

What is your favorite aspect of Arizona?

Best aspect of Arizona is monsoon season, mountain living, and the lake. I am still exploring Arizona.

Have you ever been married in the past? Would you want to get married/remarried?

Not certain if having a marriage ceremony in the first-grade counts so I will say, no. At this time in my life, I am marriage-minded.

Do you have any children? Would you like to have children?

I do not have any children but would love to after I’ve been married and experienced that married-time with my husband.

What’s your astrological sign?

You don’t want my natal chart? I am a Sagittarius.

Would you describe yourself as more of an extrovert or introvert? Or a little bit of both?

I am 60/40 extrovert-introvert.

You have the weekend off, and no work needs to be done. What are you doing?

I tend to find myself at home self-pampering, dwelling in my feminine enjoying the domestic life (i.e. reading, writing in my diary, cooking, guitar, CNBC, switching around my décor, etc.).

On the flip side, I am entertaining any random thought that comes to mind to go outside and play. This could be horseback riding, a sport, rolling around in the grass at the park, grabbing my carry-on and flying out, or choosing a new experience off my list.

Where was your favorite place you have ever visited?  Where do you want to go next?

Thus far, my favorite place is Eagle, Colorado and Vail, Colorado. Tulum, Mexico is high on my list.

Favorite movie? Why?

My favorite film is Blade Runner (1982). Everything from the screenplay, Director Ridely Scott, and his adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? The philosophy, the depth, the insinuations, the actors, the film score, and the soundtrack by Vangelis — this film is a cinematic masterpiece. I am truly blessed to have discovered this film at the public library. The same is said for The Wiz (1978). These films have my heart.

What kind of music is your favorite? Do you have a favorite artist?

My kind of music is all sorts of music because I appreciate it all. It ranges in various languages and genres, from world music, afrobeat, metal, country, symphony, gospel, mellow folk, name it. That said, I have serval favorite artists. Notably, my own creative music, followed by Atreyu, Britney Spears, Citizen Cope, Janet Jackson, Linkin Park, System of a Down, Stromae, Tom Waits, Paramore, Underoath, Whitney Houston…

Favorite food and favorite restaurant? Why?

My favorite food is all food. However, my favorite go-to is seafood and vegetables or spicy Egusi soup so my favorite restaurant is a place that has a quality selection of soup, salad, seafood, and ethnic food.

Where is your favorite place to grab a cocktail?

I like speakeasies and places quaint like The House Brasserie or Cafe Monarch (2017).

If you were to take another MEP selectee on a date, where would you take them and why?

I wouldn’t take another MEP selectee on a date as I don’t take men on dates. However, I could definitely hint at a date suggestion with a smile, a touch, and a sparkle in my laugh.
