Married/Single: Single

Kids: Stewie (my little pup that I adopted)

City you live in: New York City

A typical day in my life includes…

waking up early and making my bed, making coffee and breakfast, walking Stewie, read, yoga/workout, work and sometimes dinner plans with friends.

I was born…

in Houston, TX! I did, however, move to Hong Kong when I was 2 and lived there until I was 14, then moved to Pebble Beach, California while going back and forth between New York City until I moved to Arizona for college!

My favorite thing about Arizona…

the weather. I love the sun and have found myself to be most productive when it’s nice out and when I am able to absorb the sun’s energy.

I’m listening to…

everythingggggg. From alternative, to R&B/Hip Hop, to jazz, rock, house music and even country. I have a playlist on Spotify for each one of my different music personalities, as well as one for each month with new music I discover/re-discover— follow me if you like to groove.

My family…

is the most supportive, loving family ever. I was fortunate enough to be an only child of two of the wisest, sweetest most kind-hearted people.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Jessica Alba! I have so many questions about her journey of being a mom and creating The Honest Company, as well as her health and fitness lifestyle.

One thing I cannot live without…

my phone. I am always on the go and since most of my work is remote, I have my phone completely synced on the cloud with my laptop. I am able to do work as soon as I land in a different country, as well as on my way to dinner or the gym.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a psychologist! I wanted to listen to people’s problems and try to help them resolve their issues.

I’m inspired by…

Guy Raz’s “How I Built This” Podcast. It is amazing to see how humble and modest these founders of the world’s best-known companies are. I feel empowered by the show as it addresses a lot of obstacles and difficulties the founders went through while starting their venture, making it a little less intimidating and more relatable for me. I actually attended his live show in New York City when I first moved back into the city around two months ago (best thing about living in a big city tbh).

The one person who motivates me is…

I’m going to make it two and say, my parents. They have worked so hard to give me the world. Being able to spoil them with the fruits of my (and technically their) labor is what motivates me every day.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

better education for everyone— poor education is the basis of a lot of problems and when people are more educated on the matters that are affecting our world (beyond the bubble we live in), they would probably learn to take action towards making the world a better place for everybody.

The perfect day would be…

tanning and reading on a beach after a dip in the sea with some fresh mint tea and a nice Vinyasa yoga session on a beautiful sunny day.

My first job was…

a hostess at OHSO! It was very eye-opening and taught me a lot about the service industry as well as commitment.

My favorite escape…

traveling to a new place or yoga. Whenever I’m very upset I’ll either drive somewhere to nature or go to a yoga class to clear my head.

My life…

is full of opportunities! I am always busy learning and hustling. I absolutely love every minute of it.

I’m currently working on…

practicing gratitude, slowing down my pace, keeping focus and staying grounded. I realized having mental clarity and lucidity is the key to my success; ergo I have been practicing my concentration and attempting meditation in yoga.

Always…

take advantage of your life and live it to the fullest. Sounds cheesy but spend your time learning instead of comparing yourself with others; spend your time working on projects that’ll teach you new skills and assets. Learn to live happily, humbly, and ambitiously.

Never…

regret anything. Everything that you’ve done or has happened to you has placed you where you are today— try to see life through the lens of taking control and choosing to learn versus the role of victim and letting life happen to you

Favorite Quote…

“One problem with our current society is that we have an attitude towards education as if it is there to simply make you more clever, make you more ingenious… Even though our society does not emphasize this, the most important use of knowledge and education is to help us understand the importance of engaging in more wholesome actions and bringing about discipline within our minds. The proper utilization of our intelligence and knowledge is to effect changes from within to develop a good heart.” – Dalai Lama

Biggest Dream…

just want to state on record that I did not have a clear vision or “dream” of what I wanted until this year— so please don’t be nervous if you’re not there yet. It all takes time, practice and experience to even learn about yourself and what you want.

My Pet Peeve(s)… when people are not punctual or are flakes, when people aren’t being considerate and leave trash around (if you know me you know the extent I go with this— I pick up trash everywhere I go), and when people leave their engines running/ water running/ fridge opened and wasting energy.
